|"Usus in Praesens" Drawing Exhibit
Exhibition of 100+ sketches from three long pilgrimages (to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East) devoted to the practice of being present through drawing. This show took place in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina (Feb.28-March 28, 2008). The exhibit was done in collaboration with Utah State University Landscape Architecture faculty Caroline Lavoie.

Drawing is used as a phenomenological method to initialize, stabilize, appreciate, study, and record the experience of being present through architecture.

At several venues (Monaco, Canada, U.S.). directed by Yacov Sharir (University of Texas at Austin Department of Theater & Dance), the UofUtah CROMDI Team, and Tom Lopez (Oberlin College)
|"Body Automatic - Body Resistant" (2000-2001) -- paper
Premiered in Salt Lake City and then taken on the road to Connecticut, Texas, Brazil and versions showed elsewhere. Directed by Yacov Sharir (UofTexas) in collaboration with the Utah RDT Dance Company, Tom Lopez (electronic music composer), Anita Pantin (multimedia artist), Amante Lucero (Lighting designer) and the UofUtah CROMDI team.

(3) “Method and Apparatus for Monitoring Dynamic Cardiovascular Function Using N-Dimensional Representations of Critical Functions” (Patent # US 7,413,546 B2-Aug 19, 2008; European PCT/US01/31748), Inventors: Jim Agutter, Noah Syroid, Julio Bermudez, Michael Holmes, Yinqu Zhang, Michael Holmes, Frank Drews, David Strayer, Robert Albert, Dwayne Westenskow, Stefano Foresti.
Note: These patents came out of the long, extensive and interdisciplinary research on Information Visualization Design done over the course of 10+ years at the University of Utah. This team produced a fourth patent (not listed because i am not one of the inventors) and has one more pending (where i am a co-inventor)
